It was in 1947 that Marisa Foods first opened its doors as 
a neighborhood Italian delicatessen called 
Santa Fe Importers. We began producing authentic Italian
sausage, and in time, began supplying
local restaurants and caterers with
quality Italian meat products and grated cheeses. 

Our goal has always been to produce premium quality
products with a high value for the consumer. 
Since 1947 we have increased our product lines,
yet we have always striven to attain high standards of
quality and service.
Our products are made using state-of-the-art equipment,
and our standards for sanitation and food safety meet or
exceed those of the U.S.D.A.
We are meticulous about our products—insisting on lean,
fresh meats and the best spices and produce. We insist on
great taste and consistent quality with all of our products.
In addition, we have the capacity to co-pack and
customize items for further processing.
